KAUS SEFIROT
CONCEPTO
KAUS, una serie de piezas con una estética diferente, como resultado de la mezcla entre una técnica ancestral, como el manejo de la fibra del Henequén y un proceso de teñido originario del Perú, con una forma futurista y un tanto abstracta que componen una creatura con un mensaje sutil, casi implícito, disponible para quienes logran ver más allá de esta particular escultura.
Del famoso “oro verde” el Henequén de la península de Yucatán en México, se extrae la fibra que le da forma a estos seres, luego de un proceso tradicional de pigmentación del alto Perú, que permite crear toda una serie en variados e intensos colores; este material, de origen orgánico, tiene un significado que yace intrínseco en esta propuesta, es la parte étnica, tradicional y rudimentaria en estas esculturas.
Por otra parte, la luz en sus cabezas aporta un toque futurista y un tanto postmoderno a esta serie de esculturas, siendo así parte de una invitación a conectarnos con una fuente de energía, representando así un ser terrenal y elevado, como o fuese nuestra propia naturaleza, nuestra parte orgánica y nuestra conciencia, enmarcadas en una propuesta estética fresca y adaptable a cualquier espacio.
Sin importar el estilo, KAUS es un buen acompañante en cualquier tendencia, desde la sala de un museo, hasta los espacios más conservadores, pasando por lo moderno y postmoderno, esta serie, original de KAUSLAB traspasa lo estético, y pasa de ser un accesorio a una obra de arte con sentido y un discurso único, tanto en lo ornamental como en su origen artístico.
CONCEPT
KAUS, a series of pieces with a different aesthetic, as result of the mixture between an ancestral technique, as the handling of Henequen fiber and a original dyeing process from Peru, with a futuristic and somewhat abstract form that make up a creature With a subtle, almost implicit message available to those who can see beyond this particular sculpture.
From the famous "green gold" Henequen of the Yucatan peninsula in Mexico, the fiber that shapes these beings is extracted, after a traditional process of pigmentation of the upper Peru, that allows to create a whole series in varied and intense colors; This material, of organic origin, has a meaning that lies intrinsic in this proposal, is the ethnic, traditional and rudimentary part in these sculptures.
On the other hand, the light in their heads brings a futuristic and somewhat postmodern touch to this series of sculptures, being part of an invitation to connect with a source of energy, thus representing an earthly and elevated being, as was our own Nature, our organic part and our conscience, framed in an aesthetic proposal fresh and adaptable to any space.
