GEA KAUS
VIRTUAL EXHIBITION
Continuando con el hilo conceptual de la obra Serie Kaus 01_02_03 nace la idea de realizar una exposición virtual, donde algo habitual como visitar una sala de museo se transforme en una nueva experiencia que nos traslade a otras posibilidades de visualización donde el espectador pierda la noción de la realidad física donde se encuentra, haciéndose participe en la contemplación de cada una de las piezas.
Los KAUS son pequeños seres de luz que van recorriendo el mundo tomando energía del universo para alimentarse, de la misma forma como el ser humano alimenta su alma y la transforma en la luz que irradia e ilumina su camino y de quienes le hacen compañía.
La personalidad y la apariencia de un KAUS viene dada por los elementos que la tierra le proporciona para protegerse, una piel que los cubre, una materialidad que los identifica, siendo esta la característica que los hará diferenciarse entre unos y otros dotándolos de una belleza peculiar que proviene de la madre tierra, a ello se debe el nombre de esta exposición GEA KAUS, dando razón al origen etimológico de la palabra tierra, el hogar que dona sus recursos a nuevos seres dándole formas y propiedades únicas que los protegerán de las adversidades en su entorno.
La materialidad de estos seres está organizada en tres líneas claramente definidas, inicialmente se encuentran KAUS NATURA cuya cobertura está compuesta por semillas, cortezas o fibras como el mimbre y el henequén planta originaria de la cultura Yucateca que ha sido teñida por pigmentos provenientes del Perú en tonos gris, verde o amarillo. La siguiente línea denominada KAUS METAL, son piezas que poseen la cualidad de tomar las características del metal y reflejar el colorido de su entorno siendo un espejo de lo que nos rodea pudiendo camuflagearse. Por último se encuentra la línea KAUS LUXURY conformada por todos aquellos materiales provenientes de la tierra considerada por el ser humano como joyas, representadas por las perlas, las piedras preciosas, el oro y la plata.
Sin duda GEA KAUS lleva el arte a una nueva dimensión que se aproxima a la experiencia de un futuro no lejano, la realidad tecnológica en la que vivimos que nos aparta de un hecho real y nos lleva a una experiencia virtual inmersiva.

CONCEPT
Continuing with the conceptual thread of the series Kaus Series 01_02_03 the idea of a virtual exhibition was born, where something habitual like visiting a museum room becomes a new experience that transports us to other possibilities of visualization where the spectator loses the notion of The physical reality where he is, making himself participate in the contemplation of each of the pieces.
The KAUS are small beings of light that go around the world taking energy from the universe to feed themselves, just as the human being feeds their soul and transforms it into the light that radiates and illuminates their path and those who keep them company.
The personality and appearance of a KAUS is given by the elements that the earth provides to protect itself, a skin that covers them, a materiality that identifies them, this being the characteristic that will make them differentiate between them by giving them a peculiar beauty Which comes from mother earth, to this is the name of this exhibition GEA KAUS, giving reason to the etymological origin of the word earth, the home that donates its resources to new beings giving them unique forms and properties that will protect them from the adversities in its environment.
The materiality of these beings is organized in three clearly defined lines, initially they are KAUS NATURA whose cover is composed of seeds, barks or fibers like the wicker and henequen plant origin of the Yucatecan culture that has been dyed by pigments coming from Peru in Gray, green or yellow tones. The next line called KAUS METAL, are pieces that possess the quality of taking the characteristics of the metal and reflect the color of its surroundings being a mirror of what surrounds us and can camouflage. Finally is the KAUS LUXURY line conformed by all those materials coming from the land considered by the human being as jewels, represented by pearls, precious stones, gold and silver.
Without a doubt GEA KAUS takes art to a new dimension that comes close to the experience of a future not far away, the technological reality in which we live that distances us from a real fact and leads to an immersive virtual experience.
